Mira is a native of Keyser, West Virginia. She attended undergraduate school at West Virginia University, graduating Cum Laude with a degree in accounting. Mira earned a Masters in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude and Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. Following graduate school, Mira became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and worked in the audit and tax departments of Arthur Young & Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 1988, Mira enrolled in law school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While in law school, Mira was a teaching assistant for the legal research and writing class. Mira graduated from Wake Forest in 1991 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.
Mira has been practicing law in Florida for more than 25 years, and she is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law by the Florida Bar. She has handled hundreds of cases, representing both men and women. Her law practice focuses exclusively on family law.
In addition to serving as an attorney, Mira has served in several other roles in family law cases. Mira has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Law Mediator. She has also been appointed as a parenting coordinator and visitation supervisor. Mira is now lending her extensive background and experience to help others prepare and present their family law cases.
